It is 7:40 AM and my alarm is booming to an old school jam by Justin Bieber. As I slouch out of bed to turn the alarm clock off I remember that I can just say a command and it will go off. Instead I actually get up and turn it off because I need to be in class in 20 minutes. I walk over to the bathroom and ask my robot Lisa for my gel and hairspray. Once my hair is done I ask for my electronic toothbrush and my ultra cleaning toothpaste. I head out the door and call my car, as I walk out of the dorm building its waiting for me by the path way. I walk closer and say “open” and the door opens, as I am checking my Facebook on my iphone my robot controlled vehicle takes me to main campus.
I get out my car and send it back to the dorms. As I walk to class I see flat screen TV’s everywhere announcing what events are going on this week. I walk past Einstein’s and they already have my usual ready and a robot arm hands it to me, I keep walking. When I walk into composition class I sit at one of the hundreds of desk in the classroom. I pull out my ipad and connect to the streaming of the channel where are holographic professor is conducting the class today. It sounds like a female. She guides us to the link that shows us our syllabus. Then she explains what is due the next class meeting. She chats with us individually if needed. Finally she dismisses us and on to my biology class I go. In my biology class it is pretty much the same routine only note-taking involved. Once done with my biology, me and my best friend Natalie go to the student union and sit at the tables and wait for a robot perch to come and take our order; when we are done with lunch we head on our way to the dorms. I call my car and off I go.
Once I get back to the dorms my fingerprint opens my door and I lay on my bed. I ask Lisa to bring me a diet coke and I fall asleep. When I wake up from my nap I go to eat dinner with Natalie and then come up and do homework for composition class. Then I go to bed and tomorrow will pretty much be the same.

This was very creative and seemed very thought out! I liked how you have your own personal robot and the machines do anything you want at your command. If only it were that simple today...
ReplyDeleteI really like your ideas of how a typical day in the future will be. They seem very relaxing and enjoyable. I think it would be very cool to have a holographic professor and so many robots to help you out throughout the day at different places
